we must be compensated through affermative action because North Eastern has been suppressed and oppressed because of
this laws that were created in parliament by a few hand picked individuals most of them who are victims. Last but not least I
wish to state here that the East African community should be strenghthen. This constitution must strenghthen the East African

Speaker: Much has been said (inaudible)---I would like to any member of may be any leader wether a minister or a president
before he is elected if he have been prior involved in any act scandal, he should be automatically removed should not be
allowed to go to hold any public office. Secondly we have been hearing a lot of word may be this province has been
marginalized it has been neglected so I would like the commission to give us a special attention percentage to uplift this province
at large because much from the almost thirty, since independence much has not been done in this province it has been lugging
behind. So we need special attention from the government.
In the other area on education side the syllabuses that is which is meant for the whole country does not cater for the whole
needy eight provinces or some areas are quite calamitically they usually differ from one another. So certain parts of the syllabus
or curriculum cannot apply in this areas because the facilities and the requirements are not found here. So theoretically the
teachers who are now handling part of the syllabuse are not able to deliver the lesson the lessons properly. So when trying to
right down the syllabuse people should consider may be provinces, the area every area should be considered. The other point is
about compensation all those people who have been involved may be who have been killed should be compensated by the
government. Also there are some thing we are involving we are also part of the globe and there some time threat can come from
a foreign government demanding may be the government to do something and the government is usually pushed. So any thing
that is a threat to the citizen of this country the government should not act on such issues because a foreign country can have a
demand and that demand can be a threat to your own maybe the Kenyan society or it can cause civil strike within the country.
We should call a referendum asking people what should be done instead of the president acting on his own or the parliament
acting on their own. Finally on land ownership it is usually the powers the local government has got the powers to handle
anything to do with the land. They issue land without the local authority, somebody goes to Nairobi he processed a title deed
for a certain land and he just claims that land, it can be a school it can be a government land. Much has been grabbed so we
would like those people who have grabbed land before, the idea should be revisited and those properties should be
repossessed back and the idea of handling the land should be handled by the local government and any individual who is being
given a large land a portion of land should be advertised to the public so that they are aware.
If that person is not using that land for a proper use it will come to the attention of the people should give that land. Much of the
people are living in squarters while one person is trying to have a large number of land which is trying to deny may be the
squrters the people who are fisually less who have no funds to own a land so we would like the land to be maybe if the local
government is supposed to issue a land to the people they should advertise that area is suppose to be given to that person so
that people should be aware.
