of the cases where a non-banking sub-treasury has exceeded the<br />

limits of normal cash balance in form (A)(ii).<br />

(vi). The reports thus received by DTA will be compiled and if any<br />

sub treasury is found to exceed the normal cash balance and<br />

currency chest balance, the Treasury Officer concerned will be<br />

asked to investigate the matter and transfer the excess to<br />

currency chest to maintain the normal balance if the cash<br />

balance exceeds the limit of currency chest, the excess amount<br />

would be remitted to the concerning banks currency chest.<br />

Receipts and Expenditure<br />

(i). The Treasuries compile daily account of receipt and<br />

expenditure. These accounts include the receipt and payments<br />

of all the sub-Treasuries in the district.<br />

(ii). After end of the month while sending the account to AG the<br />

treasuries are required to send monthly receipt and expenditure<br />

figures to DTA.<br />

(iii). At the DTA level these reports are compiled to see if there are<br />

cases of exorbitant expenditure or less revenue receipts from<br />

treasuries. In such cases the Treasury Officers are asked to look<br />

in to the matter and inform the DTA the reasons for such<br />

variations.<br />

Reserve Bank Deposits<br />

(i). On receipt of daily account from Banks in case of banking<br />

Treasuries and sub-treasuries a register of Reserve Bank<br />

deposit (form A iii) is maintained at treasury or sub-treasury<br />

level to show that on a particular date the total receipt are<br />
