Another problem for photographers is that the aspect ratio of common film sizes (35mm
and 4 × 5) does not match up to the proportions of all standard frames. The photographer
Frame Destination has exterior
dimensions of 20 × 26 inches with
equal 3.5-inch 8-ply mat borders added
to a 13 × 19-inch inkjet print (the
actual window opening is 12.75 ×
18.75 inches). The frame is faced with
UV-filtering acrylic (Cyro OP3).
