7-111. Attack reconnaissance assets can be placed under OPCON of the squadron; therefore, the<br />
squadron, troops, and platoons must establish close working relationships with attack reconnaissance units<br />
whenever possible. Through mobility and speed, attack reconnaissance assets give the ground commander<br />
added flexibility, increasing the speed with which reconnaissance is conducted.<br />
EMPLOYMENT CONSIDERATIONS<br />
7-112. The primary mission of attack reconnaissance in support of the troop is conducting reconnaissance.<br />
Table 7-6 summarizes the capabilities and limitations of attack reconnaissance assets.<br />
