World War II.<br />

MacKAY, Lybison WWII<br />

Lybison was born in Inverness, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong> on February 13, 1921. He joined the<br />

Armoured Corps and served with the Governor General’s Foot Guards (Tank<br />

Regiment) in Europe during World War II. He was a member of Captain Angus L.<br />

MacDonald <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #132 in Inverness. Lybison died on April 9, 2011.<br />

MacKENzIE, A. L. WWI<br />

A. L. was born in Mabou, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. During World War I, he served as a Private<br />

in Europe with the 185 th Battalion of the Cape Britain Highlanders.<br />

MacKENzIE, Albert “Buster” WWII<br />

Buster was born in 1921 in Glace Bay, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the <strong>Canadian</strong> Army<br />

and served with the Cape Breton Highlanders at Aldershot, England where he<br />

trained, trained, and trained. Buster has been a member of Clementsport <strong>Legion</strong><br />

Branch #122 for 68 years.<br />
