MacNEIL, Frank WWI<br />
Frank was born in Port Hood, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the Army during World<br />
War I and served in France as a Private with the 185 th Battalion of the Cape<br />
Breton Highlanders.<br />

MacNEILL, James Carl PEACETIME<br />
James was born in 1943 in Middleton, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the <strong>Canadian</strong> Army<br />
and served with the Black Watch in Canada doing general duties. James has been a<br />
member of Clementsport <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #122 for 36 years.<br />

MacPHEE, Harold WWII<br />
Harold was born in Inverness, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the Army during World War<br />
II and served in Europe with the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Highlanders and<br />
the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Corps of Signals. Harold was a member of Captain Angus L.<br />
Macdonald <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #132 in Inverness.<br />

MacPHAIL, Neil “Big Angus” WWII<br />
Neil was born in East Lake Ainslie, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the Army during World<br />
War II and served in Europe with the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Army Service Corps. Big<br />
Angus was reported to be the largest soldier in the <strong>Canadian</strong> Army in World War II.<br />
He was a member of Captain Angus L. Macdonald <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #132 in Inverness<br />
for 13 years.<br />
