supporting Canada’s Canada’ s fighting men and women. This
year year marks the the 70th 70th anniversary of Canada’s Canada’ s raid on
Dieppe, Dieppe, France ce during during during the the Second Second WWorld
WWorld
orld War. W War.
Nearly
5,000 Canadian Canadian soldiers stormed the French shore in
the Battle of Dieppe. Less than half of them returned to
Canada. All All of of them fought bravely. bravely bravelyy.

The province is proud of the women and men who
serve – and who have served – in the the Canadian Armed
Forces. Forces. I want want to extend our heartfelt appreciation for the
contributions they make abroad and at home with their
families, in communities throughout Nova Nova Scotia.
