DITMARS, Edwin Joseph PEACETIME<br />
Edwin was born in 1931 in Deep Brook, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong><br />
Air Force in 1948 and trained at Trenton, Ontario. He served for more than 35 years<br />
at the following bases: Trenton, Camp Borden and Clinton, ON; Greenwood, NS;<br />
McDonald, MB; 2 Wing, France; Chatham, NB; and 436 Squadron in Ottawa, ON<br />
and 405 Squadron in Greenwood, NS. Edwin has been a member of Clementsport<br />
<strong>Legion</strong> Branch #122 for 8 years.<br />

DOBSON, Warren Lee WWII<br />
Warren was born in Little Shémogue, New Brunswick around 1923. He joined the<br />
<strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Air Force and served as a Wireless Operator and Air Gunner in<br />
Canada and England during World War II. He and his crew were killed on December<br />
17, 1943 when his Lancaster Bomber was shot down returning from a bombing<br />
mission over Berlin.<br />

DONNELLY, Michael R. WWII<br />
Michael was born in Glace Bay, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Navy<br />
and served during World War II.<br />

DONAHUE, John WWII<br />
John was born in Inverness, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Air Force<br />
and served in Europe during World War II. John was a member of Captain Angus<br />
L. MacDonald <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #132 in Inverness.<br />
