DITMARS, Edwin Joseph PEACETIME
Edwin was born in 1931 in Deep Brook, Nova Scotia. He joined the Royal Canadian
Air Force in 1948 and trained at Trenton, Ontario. He served for more than 35 years
at the following bases: Trenton, Camp Borden and Clinton, ON; Greenwood, NS;
McDonald, MB; 2 Wing, France; Chatham, NB; and 436 Squadron in Ottawa, ON
and 405 Squadron in Greenwood, NS. Edwin has been a member of Clementsport
Legion Branch #122 for 8 years.

DOBSON, Warren Lee WWII
Warren was born in Little Shémogue, New Brunswick around 1923. He joined the
Royal Canadian Air Force and served as a Wireless Operator and Air Gunner in
Canada and England during World War II. He and his crew were killed on December
17, 1943 when his Lancaster Bomber was shot down returning from a bombing
mission over Berlin.

DONNELLY, Michael R. WWII
Michael was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy
and served during World War II.

John was born in Inverness, Nova Scotia. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force
and served in Europe during World War II. John was a member of Captain Angus
