WINCHESTER, Lovitt Eric “Budd” PEACETIME<br />

Budd was born in <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Air Force in 1957<br />

and took his basic training at St. Jean, Quebec. He then went to Camp Borden<br />

to take his trades training as an Electrical Technician Air. However, he was<br />

released due to health reasons. Lovitt has been a member of Clementsport<br />

<strong>Legion</strong> Branch #122 for 49 years.<br />

WINCHESTER, Richard C. “Dick” PEACETIME<br />

Dick was born in 1940 in Digby, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Navy<br />

in 1960 and did his basic training at HMCS Cornwallis. He then served on HMCS<br />

Athabaskan and Bonaventure. After three years, he took his release from the Navy.<br />

In 1966, he joined the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Air Force and became a Stationary Engineer,<br />

serving at: Rivers, Manitoba; 447 SAM Squadron La Macaza, Quebec; and Cold<br />

Lake, Alberta. He served a total of 10 years with the RCN/RCAF. Richard has been<br />

a member of Clementsport <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #122 for 26 years.<br />

WRIGHT, Clyde William “Bob” WWII<br />

Bob was born in 1924 in Virginia East, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong><br />

Air Force and was stationed in Newfoundland where he served in administration.<br />

Bob has been a member of Clementsport <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #122 for 60 years.<br />

WRIGHT, R. L. Douglas PEACETIME<br />

Douglas was born in 1942 in Digby, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the Army in 1962 and<br />

took his basic training in engineering at Chilliwack, BC. He served for 15 years at<br />

Chilliwack, Windsor Park in Halifax, Egypt, Shearwater, Petawawa, Jost, Germany,<br />

and Bermuda. Douglas has been a member of Clementsport <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #122<br />

for 40 years.<br />
