MUGFORD, Glen “Mugsy” PEACETIME<br />
Mugsy was born in 1956 in Juniper Stump, Newfoundland. He joined the <strong>Royal</strong><br />
<strong>Canadian</strong> Navy and trained at CFB Cornwallis. He then trained in the weapons trade<br />
and served on HMCS Ottawa, Fraser, Athabaskan, and Skeena. He also served at the<br />
Halifax base and CFRS Cornwallis before retiring from the Forces after 20 years of<br />
service. Mugsy was a member of Clementsport <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #122 for 14 years.<br />

MURPHY, Joseph Francis “Joe” PEACETIME<br />
Joe was born in 1937 in Newcastle, New Brunswick. He joined the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong><br />
Navy in 1956 and took his basic training at HMCS Cornwallis. After leaving<br />
Cornwallis, he served on HMCS Crescent, Huron, Algonquin, Protecteur, and<br />
Yukon. He also served on the Shearwater, Stadacona, Gloucester, and Borden bases.<br />
Joe has been a member of Clementsport <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #122 for 25 years.<br />

MYLES, Murray M. PEACETIME<br />
Murray was born in 1935 in St. John, New Brunswick. He joined the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong><br />
Air Force in 1952 and took his basic training at St. Jean, Quebec before going to 1RCNS<br />
in Clinton, Ontario for a course. He then served at the following bases: TAC Air<br />
<strong>Command</strong>, Edmonton, AB; 5 Radio Unit, Whitehorse; 406 Squadron, Edmonton, AB;<br />
Namao, AB; 4002 MU, SK; CJATC in Rivers, MB; Station Moose Jaw; 1 Air Div.,<br />
Metz, France; 1 Wing, Lahr, Germany; CFS Shelburne; RSS WNSR, Aldershot; CFS,<br />
Suffield, AB; Gagetown, NB; and Cornwallis. He ended his career as an administrator.<br />
Murray has been with the Clementsport <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #122 for 4 years.<br />

MURPHY, Thomas H. WWI<br />
Thomas was born in North East Margaree, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the<br />
American Expeditionary Force in the United States and served as a Sergeant<br />
during World War I.<br />
