SMITH, James WWI<br />
James was born in Mabou Harbour, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He enlisted in the Army during<br />
World War I and served as a Sapper in Europe with the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Engineers.<br />
James was killed in action on February 15, 1917.<br />

John was born in Inverness, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He enlisted in the Army during World War<br />
II and served in Europe as a Corporal with the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Artillery. He was a<br />
member of Captain Angus L. Macdonald <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #132 in Inverness.<br />

John was born in Inverness, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He enlisted in the Army during World War<br />
II and served in Europe with the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Artillery. John was a member of<br />
Captain Angus L. Macdonald <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #132 in Inverness.<br />

STRICKLAND, Edward M. PEACETIME<br />
Edward was born in 1944 in Victoria, British Columbia. He joined the <strong>Royal</strong><br />
<strong>Canadian</strong> Air Force in 1963 and took his basic training at St. Jean, Quebec. For the<br />
next five years, he served as an AFP at these bases: St. Jean, QC; Dana, SK; and<br />
Camp Borden, North Bay and Armstrong, ON. He then took his release. Edward<br />
has been a member of Clementsport <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #122 for one year.<br />
