BEATON, Damian WWII<br />

Damian was born in Port Hood, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Navy<br />

during World War II and served as a Petty Officer. Damien was a member of Captain<br />

Angus L. MacDonald <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #132 in Inverness.<br />

BEATON, Dan Finlay WWI<br />

Dan was born in Strathlorne, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the Army during World War I<br />

and served in France and Europe as a Private with the 47 th Battalion of the <strong>Canadian</strong><br />

Expeditionary Force. Dan was killed in action on September 27, 1918 at Canal-du-<br />

Nord in France.<br />

BEATON, John Alexander KOREA & PEACETIME<br />

John was born in Inverness, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He served with the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong><br />

Regiment in Korea from 1951 to 1952. He also served in the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Navy<br />

from 1955 to 1960. John was a member of Captain Angus L. MacDonald <strong>Legion</strong><br />

Branch #132 in Inverness.<br />
