Alex was born in Mabou, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the Army during World War II and<br />

served in Europe with the Carleton and York Regiment. Alex was a member of<br />

Captain Angus L. MacDonald <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #132 in Inverness.<br />

MacNEIL, Charles WWI<br />

Charles was born in Mabou, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the Army during World War I<br />

and served in France with the 185 th Battalion, Cape Breton Highlanders. Charles<br />

was killed in action on March 28, 1917 in France at Vimy Ridge.<br />

of Captain Angus L. MacDonald <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #132 in Inverness.<br />
