BURTON, Samuel Bradley PEACETIME<br />
Samuel was born in Sudbury, Ontario in 1935. He joined the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Air<br />
Force in 1954 and took his training at 2 ANS Winnipeg and CFB Cold Lake. He<br />
served at various bases such as: Ottawa, St. Hubert, Chatham, Cornwallis, and<br />
NDHQ. Samuel has been a member of Clementsport <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #122 for 5 years.<br />

BUTLER, Roy Vincent WWII<br />
Roy was born in Halifax, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong> in 1921. He joined the Army and served<br />
in England and Belgium during World War II. Roy was a member of <strong>Legion</strong><br />
Branch #162 for fifteen to twenty years. He died in 1994.<br />
Submitted independently.<br />
CAHILL, Francis WWI<br />
Francis was born in Inverness, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the Army and served in<br />
France with the 4 th Divisional Engineers of the <strong>Canadian</strong> Expeditionary Force during<br />
World War I. He was killed in action at the Somme in France on November 11, 1916.<br />

CAHILL, Bernard William WWI & WWII<br />
Bernard was born in Inverness, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. In World War I, he joined the Army and<br />
served in Europe with the 24 th Battalion of the <strong>Canadian</strong> Expeditionary Force.<br />
During World War II, he served with the Voluntary Guards of Canada.<br />
