PETTIPAS, Hubert Edward WWI<br />
Hubert was born in East Tracadie, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong> on May 25, 1894. He was the son of<br />
Hubert Pettipas (Sr.) and Mary DeCoste. He enlisted with the 165 Acadian Battalion<br />
and transferred to the <strong>Royal</strong> Air Force. Lieutenant Pettipas served as a pilot in Egypt<br />
and France and returned home in 1918. Hubert died in 1920 at the age of 26. He was<br />
Godfather to Charlotte Delorey of Tracadie.<br />

PETTITPAS, John Joseph WWII<br />
John was born in 1916 in the West Chezzetcook, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the<br />
<strong>Canadian</strong> Army and was stationed at Bramshott, England as a medic at 24 General<br />
Hospital. John was a member of Clementsport <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #122 for 66 years.<br />

POIRIER, George WWII<br />
George was born in Inverness, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the <strong>Canadian</strong> Army and<br />
served in Europe during World War II. George was killed in active service in<br />
Holland in 1945.<br />

POIRIER, Charles C. WWI<br />
Charles was born in Eastern Harbour, <strong>Nova</strong> <strong>Scotia</strong>. He joined the Army during<br />
World War I and served in France with the 185 th Battalion of the Cape Breton<br />
Highlanders.<br />
