President’s Message
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the eighth edition of the Veteran’s Service
Recognition Booklet. What a wonderful way to celebrate our veterans, both those who served and
those who are still serving. The heart of this great country has been shaped by these wonderful men
and women. They are our history and our legacy. Canada is known around the world as a peaceful,
content and tolerant country because of our military. Our children and grandchildren can celebrate
their heritage within these pages and be proud of the stock they came from. Savor every minute as
you leisurely turn the pages of this exceptional piece of Canadiana and take time to thank every
veteran you come across in your travels.
To Comrade Steve Wessel, your devotion to this project makes Nova Scotia/Nunavut Command
