intersection <strong>of</strong> U.S. Highway 76 <strong>and</strong> <strong>Georgia</strong> Highway 286 on <strong>Georgia</strong> Highway 86,<br />

about 3.0 miles northeast on Lower Kings Bridge Road, 350 feet north <strong>and</strong> 580 feet<br />

east <strong>of</strong> bridge over Conasauga River; <strong>Whitfield</strong> County, <strong>Georgia</strong>; USGS topographic<br />

quadrangle, Chatsworth, GA (1972); lat. 34 degrees 51 minutes 16 seconds N. <strong>and</strong><br />

long. 84 degrees 50 minutes 20 seconds W.<br />

Ap—0 to 7 inches; brown (10YR 4/3) silt loam; weak fine granular structure; very<br />

friable; common very fine <strong>and</strong> many fine roots; strongly acid; abrupt smooth<br />

boundary.<br />

AB—7 to 19 inches; brown (10YR 4/3) loam; weak coarse subangular blocky structure;<br />

friable; common very fine <strong>and</strong> fine roots; strongly acid; gradual wavy boundary.<br />

Bw1—19 to 29 inches; dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/4) loam; weak coarse prismatic<br />

structure parting to weak medium subangular blocky; friable; common very fine<br />

<strong>and</strong> fine roots; very strongly acid; gradual wavy boundary.<br />

Bw2—29 to 41 inches; dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/4) silty clay loam; weak coarse<br />

prismatic structure parting to weak medium subangular blocky; friable; common<br />
