Ap—0 to 6 inches; brown (10YR 4/3) loam; weak fine <strong>and</strong> medium granular structure;<br />

very friable; many very fine, fine, medium, <strong>and</strong> coarse roots; moderately acid;<br />

gradual wavy boundary.<br />

Bw1—6 to 16 inches; brown (10YR 4/3) loam; weak medium subangular blocky<br />

structure; friable; many very fine, fine, medium, <strong>and</strong> coarse roots; very strongly<br />

acid; gradual wavy boundary.<br />

Bw2—16 to 32 inches; dark brown (10YR 3/3) loam; weak fine <strong>and</strong> medium<br />

subangular blocky structure; friable; common very fine <strong>and</strong> fine <strong>and</strong> few medium<br />

roots; very strongly acid; clear wavy boundary.<br />

Bw3—32 to 45 inches; dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/4) loam; weak fine <strong>and</strong> medium<br />
