Bt1—6 to 19 inches; brownish yellow (10YR 6/6) clay loam; moderate medium
subangular blocky structure; firm; few very fine and fine roots; common distinct
and common faint clay films on faces of peds; few fine manganese concretions;
few quartz gravel; very strongly acid; gradual wavy boundary.
Bt2—19 to 24 inches; brownish yellow (10YR 6/6) clay loam; moderate medium
subangular blocky structure; firm; few very fine roots; common distinct and faint
clay films on faces of peds; few fine manganese concretions; few quartz gravel;
few fine faint strong brown (7.5YR 5/6) masses of oxidized iron; common medium
prominent light gray (2.5Y 7/2) iron depletions; very strongly acid; gradual wavy
