Venison Jerky<br />

6 lbs venison, (up to 8)<br />

1 Tbs garlic powder<br />

2 Tbs liquid smoke<br />

1 quart soy sauce, (up to 2)<br />

1 Tbs onion powder<br />

2 Tbs pepper<br />

1 tsp Tabasco, (up to 2)<br />

1 Tbs MSG<br />

1 Also did venison jerky (on a dehydrator oven) beef and turkey jerky (in <strong>the</strong> smoker) using a recipe received<br />

<strong>from</strong> Two-Steps (thanks for <strong>the</strong> help!) here is his recipe:<br />

2 mix all toge<strong>the</strong>r.. soak meat for at least 24 hours. Stirring occasionally. Slice <strong>the</strong> meat into thin slices while<br />

still partially frozen. Place on trays sprayed with Pam cooking spray. Process in food in ei<strong>the</strong>r a smoker or<br />

food dehydrator until meat cracks.<br />
