above children per household. The household heads with tertiary qualification, tended to<br />

have comparatively most children <strong>of</strong>all the categories.<br />

Against expectation, the study acknowledges that the more educated household heads are said<br />

to have more children and the less educated have less children. This is an important variable<br />

in this research as the educational status <strong>of</strong>an individual will mostly have a direct bearing on<br />

his or her employability, and hence his or her ability to support children.<br />
