Organization of the Study
Chapter I was an introduction to the study. A statement of the problem, the significance
of the problem, the purpose of the study, the research questions, the definitions of operational
terms, the limitations faced in the research, and the delimitations imposed in the study were
included in the chapter.
Chapter II contains a review of literature in the research area, which will include a
historical overview of the nature of legal relations between school systems and employees and
the development of the position of school administrator. Moreover, special consideration will be
given to studying historic and recent developments in contractual law that have shaped and will
shape current and future litigation among school systems and administrators.
Chapter III describes the methodology and procedures utilized in the study. A thorough
understanding of case research utilizing printed and electronic resources is outlined.
Chapter IV includes the case briefs and case analysis.
Chapter V contains the summary, conclusions, and recommendations for further study,
any pertinent tables and graphs, and guidelines for school administrators.
