Suggestions to tackle the future challenges of organic animal husbandry
The future of organic pig husbandry is connected with a sustainable use of soil, which is feed
source and manure sink. The challenge is to study thoroughly the connections between pigs, soil
and crops in order to correctly include pigs into the crop rotation.
