Handling Complex Stations
If you have a complex station structure with a lot of racks, for example, you can set
the configuration tables to their minimum size.
1. Select the configuration table.
2. Press the right mouse button and select the menu command Minimize in the
popup menu.
You can also set this overview using the menu command Options > Customize.
Arranging the Racks in the View Automatically
Using the menu command View > Arrange Automatically you can let STEP 7
arrange your current view automatically.
Displaying Insertable ("Pluggable") Components in the Hardware Catalog
If you have selected a slot in a rack, then you can use the menu commands
Insert > Insert Object or Insert > Change Object to display a selection of
modules than can be inserted. This method saves you from having to search
through the hardware catalog. You can select from all modules that are available in
the current catalog profile.
