ing the imposition of GMOs since the second half of the 1990s, and have
indicated, in one way or another, that GMOs are “the cuckoo’s egg” of multinational
corporations and governments of certain great powers, especially
the USA. In return, their warnings have been proclaimed uninformed and
pseudoscientific exaggerations and groundless panic spread. These very
accusations were an integral part of the conspiracy that uses the standard
strategy of systematic discrediting its opponents as mere “conspiracy theorists”.
Nevertheless, the documents that have become publicly available,
thanks to Wikileaks, have significantly confirmed the “conspiracy” theses,
hypotheses and syntheses.
This paper will present the chronology of coercion and resistance, including
the recent findings in this area, as well as a broader framework in
which these issues should be considered. Namely, both GMOs and economic-political
interests that instrumentalize them should be examined in
the context of the global ruling system, whose main elements are monoperspectivist
and reductionist techno-science, neoliberal capitalist economy
and bureaucratic-partitocratic-militaristic politics.

CRKVA I IZAZOV NEOLIBERALIZMA
Novo je demokratsko društvo stvorilo nepravednu podjelu dobara svijeta
zbog vrste ekonomsko-društvenog ustroja koji se tako razvio da sve više
povećava razlike između bogatih i siromašnih, i to preko svojih novoliberalnih
dogmi, smanjivanja uloge države i javne potrošnje, liberalizacije tržišta,
a i potpunim privatiziranjem gospodarskih, financijskih i društvenih mehanizama.
Zastrašujuća je činjenica da je najprije u razvijenim zemljama,
a potom u čitavom svijetu, nastupila ogromna monetarna kriza, nazvana
recesijom, iz koje se još ne vidi izlaza.
Neoliberalno je društvo posve sekularizirano, u njegovim je temeljima
ateistička antropološka postavka sa svim svojim posljedicama i u ekonomiji.
Moderni je svijet razvio civilizaciju korisnosti, a ne civilizaciju ljubavi.
U korijenu te civilizacije nalaze se ekonomska efikasnost, ljepota i fizički
