MEDICAL SOCIOLOGY, MEDICAL ETHICS AND
BIOETHICS AT THE SCHOOL OF MEDICINE AND SCHOOL
OF DENTAL MEDICINE, UNIVERSITY OF BELGRADE –
CURRENT STATUS AND TRENDS
In the paper the authors expose, firstly, the main points of the curricula
of both basic and elective subjects within the Department of Humanities
at the School of Medicine, University of Belgrade – Medical Sociology,
Medical Ethics, Bioethics III, Bioethics IV, and Bioethics V, and within the
Department of General Subject at the School of Dental Medicine, University
of Belgrade – Basis of the Science of Behaviour and Medical Ethics.
The authors compare current status and trends regarding representation and
presence of the humanities at the School of Medicine and School of Dental
Medicine, University of Belgrade. The authors consider that the School
of Medicine, University of Belgrade, in fact, both its management and the
professors, have recognized the humanities – bioethics in the first place
– as an entirely new way of treating the very subject of medicine today,
namely, the patient.

BIOETIKA JE ROĐENA PETNAEST DANA RANIJE
Fritz Jahr i prvi spomen bioetike u prosincu 1926.
Sve do prije pet mjeseci smatralo se da je Fritz Jahr prvi članak u kojemu
spominje »bioetiku« kao novu disciplinu, odnosno najavljuje obrise
njena koncipiranja i pozicioniranja u okviru znanosti, kulture i društva,
objavio u prvom, siječanjskom broju časopisa Kosmos 1927. Zahvaljujući
tragu o postojanju još najmanje triju starijih Jahrovih članaka, autori ovog
