Once Upon A Time <strong>Episode</strong> <strong>Guide</strong><br />

bring Cora to Storybrooke, and Mary Margaret points out that he’ll help them because he knows<br />

they’re on the winning side for the moment. He takes them aboard the cloaked ship and admits<br />

that he would need a portal to sail back to the Enchanted Forest. Hook then reveals Cora’s secret<br />

weapon: Anton the Giant, shrunk down to human At the cloud kingdom of the giant, Anton joins<br />

his family and his brothers tease him about his calling him ”Tiny.” Their father, Arlo, tells them<br />

that the bean harvest is ready to gather and they share a toast. When Anton stands up, he accidentally<br />

drops a small human harp that he has taken from the treasury. His father warns him<br />

that his fascination with humans is a mistake, and that they stopped trading their magic beans<br />

when the humans used them to invade and conquer other worlds. Anton defends the humans,<br />

insisting that they’re not all bad, but Arlo says that they can never let the humans know that a<br />

few giants still exist. Puzzled, Anton asks why they harvest the beans when there is nothing to do<br />

with them, and Arlo explains that they do it for the honor of the work. Anton’s brother Abraham<br />

picks up the harp and crushes it. Upset, Anton goes to the beanstalk later and climbs down to<br />

the human world.<br />

Hook insists that he doesn’t know what Cora’s plan is or where she is, and suggests that they<br />

ask the giant. Mary Margaret takes pity on the prisoner and frees Anton, who is shocked that<br />

Cora has made him human-. He starts to ask where Cora is but then gets a good look at David<br />

and recognizes him. Anton attacks David and Mary Margaret manages to hold him off with a bow<br />

and arrow. The former giant says that David will pay for his evil and runs off.<br />

Ruby visits Belle at the hospital and brings the librarian her favorite book to read. Belle still<br />

doesn’t remember her friend and asks who Gold is and how he could cast a fireball. Ruby claims<br />

that Belle was hallucinating because of the sedatives and Belle starts to panic again. The nurse<br />

gives Belle a sedative while Greg comes through the door, having heard Belle’s question. Ruby<br />

assures him that everything is fine and says that he should take things easy so he’ll recover and<br />

leave Storybrooke.<br />

At the diner, David, Mary Margaret, and Leroy try to work out why Anton thinks David is evil.<br />

David realizes that Anton believes that he’s somewhere else: his twin brother, James.<br />

James is flirting with his most recent dalliance, Jacqueline, when his father comes in. King<br />

George informs James that a giant is running amok in the outer villages. Jacqueline offers to<br />

help kill the giant, but George says that he believes the giant can be useful and wants it on their<br />

side.<br />

David and Mary Margaret go to find Anton and discover what James did to him, while Leroy<br />

gathers the other dwarves to help.<br />

The giant Anton secretly peers through the window of a tavern and watches the people inside,<br />

drinking and celebrating. As he walks off, James and Jacqueline find him and welcome him to the<br />

kingdom. Anton tells them that he finds humans fascinating and came to their kingdom to see<br />

them first-hand. James offers to show him around but Anton points out that he’s too large to fit<br />

in. Jacqueline offers him a piece of mushroom that she received as a reward for helping a village<br />

and explains that it will temporarily shrink him down to human Anton takes the mushroom and<br />

prepares to eat it, and asks who he can thanks. Jacqueline introduces herself but says that most<br />

people call her Jack.<br />

At the airport, Gold is offended at the barbaric security procedures. Henry notices that he’s<br />

nervous and says that it must be hard to be like everyone else. When Gold realizes that they want<br />

him to take off his shawl, he refuses, worried that he could lose his memories. Emma assures<br />

him that she’ll help him and he reluctantly takes it off. As it goes through the scanner, Gold<br />

staggers, puzzled, and Emma quickly gets the shawl once it passes security and puts it back on<br />

him.<br />

In a back alley, Hook tries to summon Cora using a Queen of Hearts playing card. Regina<br />

finds him and tells her that she’s now working with her mother. Cora sent her there to find out<br />

if the others found the ship, and Hook tells her that they found the ship and released Anton.<br />

Regina is pleased, figuring that the giant will provide a distraction.<br />

Anton walks down the middle of the street, dodging cars.<br />

The human- Anton goes into the tavern with Jack and James. As they drink, Anton admits<br />

that he’s happy to be somewhere without his brothers pushing him around. James gives a moving<br />

speech about how sometimes one has to leave home to find a real family. He goes over to pay<br />

for the drinks while Anton enjoys someone playing harp music for the first time. When Anton<br />

hears James arguing over the bill, Jack explains that James’ kingdom is almost bankrupt and<br />
