Summary: In the aftermath of Gold’s actions at the wishing well, the people of
Storybrooke must come to grips with the knowledge of what they once
were. . . and are again. Meanwhile, in the fairytale world, Prince Phillip
and his traveling companion, Mulan, face a dangerous opponent.
A man comes home to his apartment
in New York City and discovers that it’s
raining and he can’t get his window shut.
A dove flies in and leaves a postcard
for Storybrooke with a single word on it:
”Broken.” Prince Philip and his comrade
Mulan ride to a castle and finds Princess
Aurora, sleeping. He says that they will
tell her everything if it works and then
kisses her. Aurora wakes up and wonders
why their castle is in ruins, and Philip
says that they must rebuild their castle.
However, he assures her that their people
are safe and Maleficent is no longer a
threat.
In Storybrooke, the purple mists die away and Mary-Margaret and David go to find out what
has happened. Granny and Ruby are embracing and recognize Mary-Margaret, and the other
townspeople and they all know who they are. As they bow to Mary-Margaret and David, Emma
and Henry arrive and her parents embrace her. The townspeople wonder why they’re still there
and the Mother Superior arrives and says that magic was responsible. When Henry asks her
to help, the Mother Superior admits that she has no fairy dust or wands. They set out to find
Regina, who they believe are responsible, but Emma says that it wasn’t her.
At the magic well, Belle explains that she was abducted by Regina and left in the insane
asylum. Gold refuses to let it stand but Belle asks him to promise that he won’t give into his hate
and kill Regina. She asks him to promise that they can be together and Gold gives his word as
they kiss.
