As they explore Neverland trying to find Henry, Pan secretly approaches<br />
Emma and offers her a map that will lead her to Henry. . . if<br />
she accepts who she is. Meanwhile, an old friend of Gold’s gives him<br />
some advice on the course of his life. Meanwhile, in the fairy tale world,<br />
Regina offers Snow White a chance for happiness if she will give up her<br />
claim on the throne. . . and Prince Charming tries to stop his beloved<br />
from accepting.<br />
In the Dark Jungle, Gold creates a<br />
campfire and uses it to cast his shadow<br />
on a nearby rock face. He then takes<br />
out his dagger and cuts loose his own<br />
shadow, gives it his dagger, and tells it to<br />
hide it somewhere where no one can find<br />
it, including himself.<br />
Hook leads the group through the jungle<br />
to a ridge so they can make out the lay<br />
of the land and find where Pan is hiding<br />
Henry. As they travel, Emma calls Mary<br />
Margaret by name and her mother suggests<br />
that she might try ”mom.” Emma<br />
objects, pointing out that the only time<br />
she has ever been less formal is when<br />
they were about to die.<br />
As David and Hook cut their way through the brush, they come to a tangle of thorns. Hook<br />
warns them to avoid them, pointing out that they have dreamshade venom on them. The pirate<br />
explains that he used concentrated dreamshade venom to try and kill Gold, and that in its<br />
natural form it inflicts a slower but no less fatal illness. When Hook suggests that they take a<br />
different route around, David chooses an alternative path, ignoring the pirate. As they continue<br />
on, Hook tells Emma that he’s not a villain in Neverland and wonders what the stories in the real<br />
world say about him. They finally reach the ridge and Hook realizes that the Dark Jungle has<br />
grown considerably since the last time he was there. He suggests that they make camp for the<br />
