Summary: While Hook tries to find a sextant that will lead them away from Neverland,
he remembers when he and his brother Liam were sent by the
king to find a plant that will cure any ailment.
The Lost Boys throw Neal into a cage,
and Felix reminds them that Pan said
what to do with their captive.
At Pan’s camp, a Lost Boy named
Devin pokes Henry with a stick, daring
him to fight. The Lost Boy continues his
assault and Henry snatches up a stick to
defend himself. As they fight, Pan speaks
up, saying that it would be better with
real swords. When Henry says that he’s
never used a real sword, Pan tells him
that since he has the Heart of the Truest
Believer, he can make anything come true
if he wishes hard enough. He tells Henry
to focus on the stick and believe that it’s a
sword, and as Henry does so it becomes real. Henry viciously slashes at Devin with new weapon,
cutting apart his pointed stick and then the Lost Boy’s check. Getting hold of himself, Henry tries
to apologize but Pan tells him that being a Lost Boy means never having to apologize.
Emma and the others search Neal’s cave for any clue to decode his star map. They find the
wall where Neal marked the days that he was on the island, and Emma realizes that he stopped
counting at the point where he gave up hope. When Regina wonders how she knows, Emma
says that she did the same thing in foster homes. She wants to send Henry a sign that they are
coming and restore his hope, and Mary Margaret suggests that they use one of the Lost Boys. As
Mary Margaret and Regina leave, Hook tells Emma that he knows what it means to lose hope.
She figures that he’s trying to bond with her and warns him that it won’t work, and goes outside.
David, having the whole thing, tells Hook that Emma is never going to come around because
Hook is nothing but a pirate.
Leftenant Killian Jones assembles the crew of the Jewel of the Realm on deck for inspection
and tells them that Captain Liam will soon be back with their new orders direct from the king.
Killian realizes that one officers has a bottle of rum in his belt and takes it away, warning
that drunkenness leads to bad form. As he throws the bottle overboard, Liam arrives and tells
everyone to prepare for departure. The captain then tells Killian that he knew his younger brother
