Once Upon A Time Episode Guide
his help, Gold refuse, explaining that Neal’s death was the price he had to pay for bringing magic
to the real world. He tells them that he’s made peace with his death and walks away.
Greg and Tamara take Hook to the mines and Hook wonders who is giving them their orders.
They insist that it doesn’t matter and that they have faith in their cause. They find a discarded
dwarf’s pickaxe and tell Hook that when they use it to break the diamond trigger, it will undo the
curse and cause the forest to reclaim Storybrooke. Hook is satisfied that Rumplestiltskin will die
and Greg asks the pirate if he’s as willing to die to obtain his revenge as they are to wipe out the
town. Hook says that he is and Greg hits the diamond with the pickaxe. When he does, it floats
up into the air and starts glowing, and the mineshaft starts trembling.
At the Storybrooke Library, plant roots climb up over the library as the forest begins to reclaim
the land.
Emma, David, and Mary Margaret go back to the apartment with Henry, and find Regina
preparing to leave. As the building shakes, Regina tells them that Greg and Tamara have activated
the trigger. She assures Henry that he’ll survive since he was born in the real world, but he
realizes that everyone else he knows will die. Regina warns them that she can’t stop the trigger
but Henry insists that they all have to work together. Hook comes in and David punches him and
then draws his gun. The pirate tells them that he values his life more than he values his revenge,
and Regina admits that all she can do is slow down the destruction. David figures that will be
long enough and suggests that while Regina delays the curse, they get the magic beans back
from Greg and Tamara and then use one to create a magic portal back to the Enchanted Forest.
Once it’s open, everyone in town can go back to their homeland to avoid the destruction. The
others agree and Hook offers to take David to his former allies. Meanwhile, Emma and Regina
will go to the mines and Mary Margaret and Henry will get the townspeople ready. As Henry goes
with his grandmother, Regina apologizes for failing to be the person he wanted her to be. Henry
smiles and tells her that he loves her.
The Lost Ones, led by a boy named Felix, row out to the Jolly Roger and Smee suggests that
they hand Bae over. Hook refuses, insisting that he needs Bae to exact his revenge. Felix orders
Hook to turn Bae over, but Hook claims that he never found him in the ocean. As they search
the ship, Felix warns Hook that if he’s lying then the Master will rip Hook’s shadow screaming
from his body.
They fail to find Bae, who is hiding in a secret compartment, and Felix tells Hook to give
them Bae if he finds them. Once the Lost Ones leave, Bae admits that he’s surprised that Hook
protected him, and the captain tells him that he has a lot to learn about pirates.
When Gold returns to his shelf, he discovers that the dwarves have broken in and are going
through his goods. Grumpy tells the pawnbroker that the Mother Superior has learned how to
make a potion that can restore memories. When combined with a personal object, it will restore
the person’s memories, and they’re looking for Sneezy’s drinking stein. Gold wonders why when
they’re all about to die, and Grumpy insists that they want Sneezy to die knowing that he has
a family. As the dwarves lead Sneezy away, Grump gives Gold a second bottle of the potion and
tells him to give it to Belle. He explains that Belle once reminded him of who he really was, and
he wants to do the same for her. The dwarf tells Belle not to die as Lacey and leaves, and Belle
comes out from the back. When she wonders what’s going on, Gold tells her nothing and walks
away.
At the cannery, Greg and Tamara pack up their equipment and burn their files. Hook and
David pull up and go inside as the ground shakes.
Once Bae gets his sea legs, Hook has him try the wheel and shows him how to navigate. They
talk about Bae’s father and Hook explains that his own father was a fugitive who eventually
abandoned him to escape his pursuers. Bae asks Hook to keep his secret and then admits that
his father is The Dark One, and that he can be killed with the dagger that gives him his power.
Hook takes an immediate interest in the knowledge of the one thing that can kill his enemy.
As they search the cannery, David says that he’s fighting to save his family, and asks Hook
what he’s fighting for. The pirate says that all he needs to fight for is himself. They find Greg
and David orders him to hand over the magic beans. Tamara shoots David, grazing him in the
shoulder, and then runs off. David chases her while Hook and Greg struggle for the magic beans.
Greg breaks free and runs after his partner, knocking David down. Hook comes up and tells
David that he managed to snag one of the magic beans, and that they need to get it to the others
rather than waste time pursuing the Believers.
