Once Upon A Time Episode Guide
When Regina wakes up, she finds Snow tending to her infected wound. The queen tells Snow
that her name is Wilma and she works in the mills, and Snow offers to get food for them. Regina
asks why she’s helping a stranger and Snow explains that when she was young, a woman saved
her when Snow’s horse ran out of control. Because of that, Snow realizes that there can be a
genuine selfless connection even between strangers. As she finishes cleaning the wound, Snow
tells Regina that the stranger is gone, but she hopes that one day she’ll return.
Emma and Henry park outside of Granny’s boarding house and wait for Greg and Tamara to
leave. Henry says talks about having adventures in the Enchanted Forest and Emma wonders if
he wants to go there. The boy realizes that Emma knows of a way to go back and is eager to go
so that the two of them can be together with Neal as a real family. As Emma tries to correct him,
Tamara and Greg leave and Emma and Henry go inside to Neal and Tamara’s room. As Emma
picks the lock, Henry talks about her and Neal getting back together. She tells him that it’s not
going to happen no matter what, and has Henry stand guard while she goes inside.
As Emma searches the room, Neal comes back and realizes that Henry is standing watch
for Emma. He takes the boy into the room and asks Emma what she’s doing. She warns her
ex-boyfriend that Tamara is playing him and keeping a list, but he says that he helped Tamara
make the list to come to grips with Storybrooke. Realizing what she sounds like, Emma insists
that she’s not jealous and points out a loose floorboard that she found. She offers to drop the
whole thing if there’s nothing beneath the floor, and Neal agrees. They pry up the floorboard and
confirm that there’s nothing there, and a disappointed Emma leaves with Henry.
The next morning, Regina wakes up as Snow prepares to move on because the knights are
closing in. She gives Regina a sword for protection and they head into the woods. Regina considers
killing Snow but finally resheathes the sword and asks if Snow wants to kill the Queen.
Snow figures that Regina is striking out because of her personal pain and wants revenge more
than love. However, she tells Regina that she wants to be guided by love and wouldn’t kill the
Queen if she had the chance, and that everyone has love inside of them. Regina doesn’t believe it
but Snow insists that the Queen just needs to open herself to love. However, when Regina asks
if Snow would invite the Queen back if she said she wanted to be good, Snow says that it will
never happen.
They return to the village and discover the corpses of all those that the knights killed. Snow
is shocked and blames herself at first. When Regina says that it isn’t her fault, Snow says that
she’s right and that the Queen is the one responsible... and that she truly is evil. Regina reminds
her of the story about the runaway horse and how the Queen saved her, and Snow points out
that she never said that the Queen was the one who saved her. Realizing who Regina really is,
Snow draws an arrow and prepares to kill her.
Regina claims that there’s good in her but Snow doesn’t believe it and prepares to shoot. When
Regina calls to Rumplestiltskin, nothing happens and she discovers that her magic still doesn’t
work. The Queen turns and runs, and Snow can’t bring herself to shoot.
When Regina goes back up to the library, she finds Hook waiting for her. He admits that he
thought that they had a connection and that she wanted a clean start. However, he has decided to
ally with Greg and Tamara, who step out from the shelves. Regina wondered how Hook survived
Maleficent and the pirate says that his allies have a way to negate magic. When Regina tries to
cast a spell and kill them all, nothing happens and Greg tells her that her magic won’t work.
At the diner, Emma and Henry share a bowl of ice cream. Henry tells his mother that he
believes that Tamara is against them and will help her so that afterward they can go to the
Enchanted Forest together.
David, Leroy, and Mary Margaret drive out to the bean fields but discover that someone has
burned them down.
When Regina returns to the palace, Rumpelstiltskin points out that he never said he would
come when she called. She admits that he was right and that the peasants will never see her as
their savior. Rumpelstiltskin asks what she’s going to do now and she promises to punish them
all. When he removed the disguise and restores her magic, Regina looks in the mirror and says
that the Queen is dead... and long live the Evil Queen.
Regina realizes that the cuff she took from Hook is what is negating her magic. Greg explains
that they’ve placed machinery in the cuff that will negate any magic, and that removing it will
do no good. She wonders who Greg really is, but he says that he’s simply a man with a mission.
Regina wonders if that mission is to find his father, but Greg refuses to tell her the real reason
