Once Upon A Time Episode Guide
Later, Regina goes to the pawnshop to talk with Gold. She has already checked the adoption
agencies but they’ll take too long to provide her with a child, so she wants Gold to cut through
the red tape. He agrees but warns that just because she wants a child doesn’t mean that she is
ready for one. Regina insists and Gold agrees, telling her that a parent must always put their
child first.
Regina casts a preservation spell on Henry to keep him alive, and Emma says that they should
head back to the Lost Boys’ camp. When Regina objects, Emma says that she knows how she
feels and Regina says that Emma has her friends and family, while Henry is all that Regina has.
Emma admits that she doesn’t know what Regina is going through and asks her to take charge.
Regina says that she doesn’t know what to do next, but figure that if Emma could nick Pan
because of the power of her belief, then they can hurt him as well.
Back at the camp, Emma, Regina, and Neal meet with Hook and the others. Regina warns
them that her preservation spell will only last an hour, and orders Felix to tell them where
they can find Pan. Felix boasts that Pan has won, and Regina prepares to torture him for the
information. Emma stops her, suggesting that they offer the Lost Boys what she knows from
personal experience every child wants: a mother.
Gold calls Regina to the pawnshop and tells her that he’s found a family in Phoenix that is
giving a boy up for adoption. A family in Boston is adopting the boy but something happened
and they can’t. The child still needs a home, and Gold gives Regina an envelope and tells her to
go to the agency and get her son.
In Boston, Regina meets with an adoption agent, who admires her references. She assures
him that Storybrooke is the perfect place to raise a child, and the agent warns her that it’s a
closed adoption. Regina will never be able to contact the child’s birth parents.
She assures him that’s fine and the agent has her new baby child brought in. Regina names
him Henry and tells the agent that she’s naming her son after her dead father. When he offers
his condolences, Regina tells him that her father died peacefully.
As Neal take care of Henry, Emma addresses the Lost Boys, telling them that as an orphan
she knows what she’s going through. She finally found her family and says that they can as
well. Felix insists that Pan is the only family that they need, but Emma tells them that Pan lied
and took the power of Henry’s heart to save himself, not the island. However, until Pan absorbs
Henry’s heart entirely, he can still be beat if they can find him. The Lost Boys finally speak up,
saying that Pan went to his Thinking Tree in the Pixie Woods. Felix angrily tells them to shut up,
but the Lost Boys offer directions as long as Emma swears to take them all home. Ignoring Felix,
Emma promises that she will.
At the diner, Regina is trying to comfort a crying Henry. Granny finally suggests that Regina
tell the baby a story and sooth him, but it doesn’t work. Regina takes Henry to Dr. Whale, who
says that all of the tests are negative. He suggests that it might be something in the family
medical history and Regina admits that the court records are sealed. She calls Sydney and tells
him to find out the birth parents from the adoption agency. While Regina is on the phone, Mary
Margaret picks up Henry and he immediately calms down. Surprised, Regina takes her son back
and he starts crying again... and she realizes that she’s the problem.
While Wendy tends to Henry, the Lost Boys give Emma the directions to the Pixie Woods.
While Hook and the others get the Lost Boys aboard the Jolly Roger, Emma and Regina prepare
to go after Pan. Mary Margaret insists on going with them rather than abandon Emma again,
and Emma reluctantly agrees.
At home, Regina tries to quiet Henry and finally manages to calm him down. Sydney calls to
tell her what he’s discovered about the birth mother. When she hears the news, Regina goes to
Gold’s pawnshop and accuses him of setting the whole thing up. Henry’s mother was an orphan
found outside of Storybrooke eighteen years ago, on the day the curse as cast. Gold claims not
to know what she’s talking about, and Regina can’t go into detail without revealing their origins.
She wonders if Gold wants Storybrooke to end, but Gold ignores her accusations and goes back
to work. Regina tells him that nothing will destroy her revenge and that she’ll send Henry back
to the adoption agency the next day.
Emma, Regina, and Mary Margaret enter the Pixie Woods and Mary Margaret sees Pandora’s
Box sitting on a tree stump. Although Emma suspects a trap, Mary Margaret moves closer to
pick it up. Vines from the Thinking Tree lash out, grabbing the three women. Pan emerges from
hiding and picks up Emma’s sword, and tells them that they’ll be reunited with Henry when
