Once Upon A Time <strong>Episode</strong> <strong>Guide</strong><br />
has to do is kiss her. James finally gives in, dropping his sword, and she pulls him forward into<br />
the lake.<br />
When James hesitates, saying he wants reality or nothing, the siren kisses him again, insisting<br />
that she loves him. He shoves her away, saying he knows the difference between real love<br />
and what the siren is offering. She congratulates him on being the first to resist her and then<br />
pulls him under. James manages to pull free and she gestures to him, but he sees the skeletons<br />
of her other victims at the bottom of the lake. He swims to the surface but the vines animate and<br />
pull him back. As the siren swims to him, he sees a discarded knife, grabs it, and stabs her. The<br />
siren transforms back to its true form as James swims to the surface.<br />
David is cleaning her car where someone has written ”tramp.” Mary Margaret arrives and<br />
accuses him of lying to her, and he worries who told Kathryn. She says that the real question is<br />
why David didn’t tell her, and he claims that he was trying to spare her fingers. When David says<br />
that he didn’t want anyone to get hurt, Mary Margaret says that now everyone is hurt and that<br />
he lied to her. David says that if they love each other then they have to pick up the pieces and<br />
move on, Mary Margaret says that what they have is destructive and it has to stop. Crying, she<br />
tells him that they shouldn’t be together.<br />
Emma goes back to her car and sees a metal box beneath it. She opens it and finds Henry’s<br />
storybook inside, unaware that August is watching her.<br />
Kathryn goes to the mayor’s office to see Regina and apologize for her earlier reaction. She’s<br />
sure that Regina wouldn’t do anything to hurt her, and admits that David didn’t love her even<br />
before her amnesia. She wonders if Regina has ever been in love, and Regina says that she was<br />
once. Kathryn says that what Mary Margaret and David have is real, and what she had with David<br />
was just an illusion. She wants the same thing for herself and she’s going to leave Storybrooke<br />
and go to Boston to find happiness, and left a letter for David giving them her blessing. Kathryn<br />
hugs a shocked Regina and admits that she’s always had a fear of leaving Storybrooke. Regina<br />
tells her that change is always frightening but leaving town may let her find what she’s looking<br />
for.<br />
James returns to the gazebo and gives Abigail the water. She applies it to the statue and it<br />
transforms back to normal. Frederick collapses to the ground and Abigail kisses him, assuring<br />
him that he’s free. She introduces him to James, who says that they can thank him by marrying.<br />
He assures them that he’s going to find Snow, and that true love can never be replaced. As he<br />
leaves, Abigail tells him to make haste because King George will come after him and stop at<br />
nothing to destroy his happiness.<br />
Regina goes to David and Kathryn’s house, finds Kathryn’s letter, and takes it with her.<br />
At school, Henry is playing with his new game when Emma comes over. He warns her that<br />
Regina will be picking him up in five minutes, and Emma gives him his book. She figures that it<br />
fell off a dump truck and made its way back to her. Henry figures that they’re luck is changing<br />
and that they should start Operation Cobra.<br />
James rides in search of Snow and goes to her cabin. Red Riding Hood is there and tells<br />
James that she never came back after Snow went to find her. James vows to find Snow no matter<br />
what, and Red says that Snow wants to be with him more than anything. She left to break up his<br />
wedding, but they realize that something changed her mind along the way. James realizes that<br />
King George is responsible, just as the King and his men ride up. He rides off with Red to avoid<br />
them.<br />
Mary Margaret is at home crying when Emma comes in, but says that she doesn’t want to be<br />
alone. Emma sits on the bed next to her and just quietly stays there for her friend.<br />
In her office, Regina takes out Kathryn’s letter and burns it, smiling Kathryn drives out of<br />
Storybrooke. A few minutes later, the school gym teacher (Frederick in the story tale world)<br />
drives by and sees her car at the side of the road. The air bag has been triggered, but there’s no<br />
sign of Kathryn.<br />
