Once Upon A Time Episode Guide
behind her optimism, admitting that if she doesn’t believe that things will get better then that’s
the point where they won’t.
Gold comes out on deck, wearing appropriate local clothing, and tells the others that he’s
going to get Henry on his own. When Emma objects, Gold points out that she doesn’t believe in
anything: not herself or her parents or magic itself. The Dark One warns Emma that Neverland
is a place of imagination, and she doesn’t have it, and then teleports away.
Greg builds a signal fire to alert the Home Office, but Tamara begins to have second thoughts
about whether their superiors are trustworthy. Felix and the other Lost Boys emerge from the
jungle and inform Henry’s abductors that they are the Home Office. Henry realizes who they are
and Felix tells Tamara and Greg to hand the boy over. When Tamara demands answers about
how they will get back to their world, Felix tells them that they’re not going home. Greg refuses
to turn Henry over but the Shadow flies down, yanks out Greg’s soul, and flies away with it.
Tamara yells at Henry to run and tries to escape, but a Lost Boy shoots her in the back with an
arrow while Henry runs into the jungle with the Lost Boys in pursuit.
As Henry runs through the forest, he trips and falls. A teenage boy grabs him and drags him
into hiding as the Lost Boys run boy.
The newcomer tells Henry that the Lost Boys are hunting him as well, and that they have to
keep moving. After making sure that the coast is clear, the boy leads Henry off into the jungle in
a different direction.
Emma goes below decks to exercise and Hook approaches her and asks what she’s doing. She
says that she’s preparing for a fight and Hook, realizing that Gold’s comments got to her, tells
her not to pay attention to the Dark One’s words. He then removes a sword from a trunk and
gives it to Emma, explaining that it belonged to Neal when he sailed aboard the Jolly Rogeras
Balefire. The pirate then pours Emma a drink and they share a toast to Neal.
Neal wakes up and is surprised to discover that he is in the company of Mulan, Aurora, and
Phillip. They explain that they’re in the Enchanted Forest and found him on the beach, and
Neal realizes that he’s back. They don’t believe him, pointing out that he’s wearing clothing like
Emma, and he explains that he’s Henry’s father. When he wonders how he can find Emma and
Henry, Aurora offers to use her ability to enter the dreamworld and contact Henry like she did
before, and Emma as well. When she asks what message she should give Emma, Neal asks her
to tell Emma that he loves her.
After they finish their toast, Hook admits that he misses Neal as well. The Jolly Rogerstarts
shaking and Emma and Hook run to the deck to discover that the sea has suddenly turned
rough. Hook tells them to prepare for the worse: an attack by mermaids. The creatures attack
the ship, slamming into the sides, and David refuses to accept defeat. He loads up a gun and
fires at the mermaids while Emma and Mary Margaret throw a net overboard and try to catch
one. They snag one of their attackers and try to pull it aboard, while Regina releases fireballs at
the others, driving them off, and then teleports the captive one onto the deck.
The fugitive boy leads Henry to a clearing and asks who he is. When Henry explains that Pan
brought him to Neverland, the boy warns that Pan always gets what he wants. Pan wants him
because he stole a vial of pixie dust that he hoped would let him fly home.
However, the dust doesn’t work for him. Henry tells his friend that his family is coming to
rescue him and that they can take the boy with them, and asks if there is a place where they
can hide. The fugitive boy says that they can avoid detection in the echo Caves, but that it is far
away.
Aurora goes to sleep and tries to contact Emma in her dreams. Meanwhile, Neal tells Mulan
that when he fell through the portal, he was thinking of the Enchanted Forest so the portal
brought him there. Mulan asks about the other world and Neal explains that they are all legends
in that place. Aurora wakes up and admits that she failed, and believes that Emma and Henry
are beyond anyone’s reach. Neal figures that his father would have let something behind in his
castle that will let him contact Emma. When the others wonder who his father is, Neal reluctantly
explains that he’s Rumplestiltskin, the Dark One.
As Tamara tries to crawl away, bleeding from her wound, Gold finds her and demands to
know where he can find Henry. When Tamara can’t speak because of her wound, Gold heals it
and she says that Henry ran into the jungle and that Pan and the Lost Boys are hunting him.
She apologizes for shooting Neal, insisting that she was tricked by her superiors. When she asks
