Once Upon A Time Episode Guide
night to get their rest and the others reluctantly agree. As they set up camp, Mary Margaret tells
her daughter not to lose hope and that it’s never too late.
Charming rides to Snow’s glass casket in the woods and orders the dwarves back. He then
kisses her, breaking the Evil Queen’s curse and awakening Snow.
At the Evil Queen’s castle, a soldier brings the Magic Mirror to her highness. She doesn’t want
to be disturbed but the Magic Mirror shows her images of Charming awakening Snow and Snow
vowing to take back her kingdom. Furious, Regina prepares to take action against her.
Snow and Charming go to a nearby village with the dwarves and try to convince the inhabitants
to rebel against Regina. They refuse and Regina arrives to confront them. Snow says that
they’re not afraid of her, but Regina animates ropes to bind Charming and then tells Snow that
she will let them all live in exile... if Snow renounces her claim upon the throne. Regina wants
her to be awake and alive and know that she has lost everything to her. When Snow wonders
what happens if she refuses, Regina lifts one of the villagers into the air with a spell and starts
choking her. Snow draws her sword and charges at the Queen, but she easily teleports to avoid
the blow and warns Snow that she will kill one subject a day until Snow agrees to her terms.
As the others doze off, Emma hears children crying in the distance and discovers that she
can’t wake up the others. She goes to investigate and finds Pan waiting for her. He introduces
himself and Emma holds her sword to his neck, demanding that he return Henry. Pan tells her
that Henry is special and that he came there to see the Savior. He admits that he’s impressed
and offers Emma map to lead her to Henry. When she wonders why he’s helping her, Pan tells
her the important thing is how she finds Henry, not when.
Emma takes the map and discovers that it’s blank, and Pan tells her that it will only lead her
to Henry when she admits who she really is. Pan then disappears, leaving Emma to ponder what
he’s told her.
Back at the camp, Emma shows the others the map. Hook admits that Pan always tells the
truth, but that he’s a demon in human form.
Regina suspects that it’s a trap but Hook points out that the entire island is Pan’s trap. When
Regina prepares to use her magic on the map, Emma stops her, warning that she has to be the
one to solve Pan’s riddles. The others agree and a disgusted Regina walks away. When Emma
looks less than confident, her mother tells her that she can win.
Back at their camp, Snow wonders if they can win given Regina’s threat and considers the
Evil Queen’s offer. The dwarves promise that they’ll stand by her no matter what she decides,
but Charming tells his beloved not to let Regina get to her. Snow admits that she doesn’t even
know who she is and figures that if they go into exile then at least they will be alive and together.
Once Snow walks off to consider her choices, the dwarves accuse Charming of trying to become
the king by using Snow, rather than accepting her love no matter where and what they are. They
tell Charming that they will honor Snow’s decision if she goes into exile and tells him that he’ll
have to change her mind without their help.
A short time later, Charming goes to Rumplestiltskin’s castle and asks for his help to make
Snow remember who she really is.
Gold is sitting at his campfire, looking at the doll that Felix gave him, when he hears someone
moving. He sets the doll down and goes to investigate, and a hooded figure runs out of the wood
and grabs it. As the figure tries to flee, Gold grabs them and spins them around... and discovers
that it’s Belle. She points out that he’s wearing his Dark One clothing and Gold explains that he’s
had to take back his power and use it so that he can rescue his grandson. Belle tells him that
there’s still hope that he hasn’t given in to his power yet, and Gold realizes that she isn’t really
there. When Belle tells him that she’s safe in Storybrooke and everything is okay, he suspects
one of Pan’s illusions. Belle admits that she’s an illusion, but one that Gold himself has created.
Rumplestiltskin tells Charming that magic can’t create belief, and that belie creates magic. He
tells the prince that he can’t make Snow believe something that she doesn’t want to believe in. The
Dark One advises Charming to accept Regina’s offer, but the prince figures that Rumplestiltskin
must have something and tells him to name his price.
Later, Snow is practicing with a bow and arrow, and missing, when Charming arrives and
tells her that Rumplestiltskin has given him the location of a magic weapon that they can use to
defeat Regina and reclaim the kingdom. Interested despite herself, Snow asks what it will do and
Charming tells her that it will reveal who she really is.
