Once Upon A Time Episode Guide
of things like slaughtering villages of peasants. Regina asks him to teach her how to shapeshift
like he did with his mother, so that she can go among the peasants, find Snow, and kill her.
Rumplestiltskin warns her that it took him months to teach Cora and she asks him to cast
the spell on her. The Dark One warns her that she won’t be able to stop the spell or use any
of her magic while she is disguised, and Regina accepts his conditions as long as she can kill
Snow. In return, Rumplestiltskin asks her to cut off all trade with King George. She agrees to his
condition and Rumpelstiltskin tells her that she should call for him when she wants to end the
spell. The Dark One casts the spell and shows her new image in the mirror. However, he warns
her that she may not like what the peasants have to say about her when she walks among them.
The next morning, Regina approaches Regina and tells him that his family plans to go to the
Enchanted Forest with them and leave her behind. Henry is upset at the news and Regina insists
that they don’t see the good in her. She offers to use a failsafe built into the curse to reset time,
making Storybrooke disappear and getting a second chance for her and Henry when the use the
magic beans.
Henry agrees until he realizes that the failsafe will kill everyone else in Storybrooke. He tells
his adoptive mother that she’s a villain and promises to stop her, and Regina uses a spell to
make him forget what she just said.
The disguised Regina goes to the nearby village and is shocked to discover that the people are
throwing darts at an effigy of her.
When they threaten to burn it, she grabs the torch and warns them that they’re all committing
treason. Unaware of who she is, the peasants insist that Snow should be their queen. Berkley
and Rivers arrive and assumes that Regina is the one responsible for the effigy. She calls them
by name and insists that she’s the queen, but they assume that she’s insane and drag her away
for treason.
Hook visits Regina at her office and explains that he wants her protection from Greg and
Tamara. He tells the mayor that they want him to pretend to ally with Regina and then betray
her, but he plans to betray them instead. Regina wonders why and Hook says that he wants to
help her and Cora. She breaks the news to him that Cora is dead and he offers his condolences.
When Hook offers to help her to fulfill Cora’s plans, Regina shows him a container of the magic
beans that she took and explains about her plan to take Henry away and kill everyone else.
Satisfied that Gold will die with the others, Hook agrees to help with her plan.
At the diner, Emma bumps into Tamara as she leaves with sandwiches for her and Neal. As
Emma helps her pick up her things, she notices that Tamara has a list of the townspeople and
their real identities. They talk about Henry and Neal, and Emma warns Tamara that it would
hurt them both if the real world learned about Storybrooke’s existence. Tamara assures her that
she would never betray the town and leaves.
Emma goes back to the apartment and tells Mary Margaret of her suspicions. Mary Margaret
is unwilling to think the worst of the woman and suggests that there’s a valid reason for Tamara
to have a list. She tells Emma not to inform Henry of her suspicions because it might make him
thing that Emma plans to get back together with Neal. Emma insists that she’s not jealous of
Tamara but her mother says that she should keep her suspicions to herself until she has more
evidence. Once Mary Margaret leaves, Henry steps out of hiding, having heard everything, and is
glad to help Emma get more evidence against Tamara.
Regina and Hook go to the elevator and take the elevator down into the tunnels.
Berkley and River take Regina to the execution block and prepare to decapitate her. Regina
yells for Rumplestiltskin but gets no response. Snow arrives and kills the two knights, and one
of them scratches Regina with his blade before he goes down. Regina passes out as Snow goes to
her side.
As they go into the tunnels, Hook points out that his life will be empty once he has his revenge,
but Regina assures him that she will have Henry once she gets her revenge on Mary Margaret
and the others. As they walk, Regina notices that Hook is wearing Cora’s cuff and he explains
that she gave it to him to climb the beanstalk. Regina orders him to turn it over and they go into
the main cavern. She explains that the failsafe is hidden there and that an old friend is guarding
it. Hook wonders why she needs him and Regina tells him that he’s the distraction. She shoves
him to the level below and Maleficent, an undead liche, emerges from the shadows and attacks
him. While Hook holds the liche off, Regina goes to a crystal bier and removes a diamond from
it.
