Occurrence <strong>of</strong> an epidemic does not always follow a specific rule, as several<br />

factors, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g geographical location, air stream, w<strong>in</strong>d direction, host<br />

cultivars and pathogen pathotype, are as important as <strong>the</strong> climatic conditions.<br />
