stratification, types of association, law, magic,<br />

religion, art, social change. The role of applied<br />

anthropology.<br />

ANTR 3015. INTRODUCTION TO PHYSICAL<br />

ANTHROPOLOGY. Three credit hours. Three<br />

Concepts of biological and cultural evolution,<br />

mechanisms of evolution, the evolutionary history<br />

of the human being, the fossil record,<br />

socioeconomic adaptations in prehistory.<br />
