the Iberian Peninsula on the history and civilization<br />

of the different Spanish Kingdoms from the<br />

The evolution of the Spanish Empire and the causes<br />

leading to its downfall; analysis of the cultural,<br />

social and political development of Spain from the<br />

Development of the major European countries, and<br />

their international relations within Europe.<br />

Emphasis will be given to nationalism, imperialism,<br />

and their impact upon Europe and the non-<br />

European world.<br />
