During the <strong>Carnival</strong> period, the police<br />
deployment strategy ensures that officers are<br />
stationed at key areas such as entry/exit<br />
points and sterile/safety zones so as to<br />
ensure that these areas are kept clear in the<br />
event of an emergency and to allow<br />
emergency vehicle access.<br />

TRAFFIC EXCLUSION ZONE/<br />
ROAD TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT<br />
The MPS are responsible for determining the<br />
Traffic Exclusion Zone. They are also<br />
responsible for implementing parking<br />
suspensions, whilst also maintaining an<br />
adequate number of parking facilities in the<br />
area.<br />
