1. Konfigurationsmenü starten 1. Start configuration menu
Funktionstaste ganz links und Funktionstaste ganz rechts gleichzeitig so lange (3 Sek.) Press the left and right function keys simultaneously (3 sec.) until the configuration

Symbole im Konfigurationsmenü:
= Kreistaste = Markierten Menüpunkt einstellen (und speichern)
= Pfeiltaste nach oben = In der Liste nach oben wandern
= Pfeiltaste nach unten = In der Liste nach unten wandern
= Haustaste = Abbrechen, d.h. zur höheren Menüebene
zurückkehren ohne zu speichern.
Symbols in the configuration menu:
= Circle key = Set (and store) marked menu item
= Upwards arrow key = Scroll upwards through the list
= Downwards arrow key = Scroll downwards through the list
= Home key = Cancel, go back to the higher menu level

Bedeutung
Sprache der Displaytexte einstellen, z.B. Deutsch oder Englisch.
Raumtyp einstellen, z.B. Patientenzimmer.
RAN Anzahl: Anzahl Zimmergeräte (= RAN Anzahl) einstellen.
Test RAN: Test, ob Zimmergeräte funktionsbereit sind und korrekt am RAN
angeschlossen sind.
Status: Prüfung, ob eingestellte RAN Anzahl mit Anzahl funktionsbereiter
Zimmergeräte übereinstimmt.
Zimmer‐Adresse einstellen (1 bis 110 einstellbar)
Kontrast des ZimmerTerminal‐Displays auf hoch oder niedrig einstellen
Ton bei Drücken der Tasten am ZimmerTerminal ein‐ oder ausschalten
Version der Software im ZimmerTerminal anzeigen lassen.
Verwendung nur durch Tunstall‐Techniker. (ZimmerTerminal neu starten)

Meaning
Selecting the user language (e.g. English or German).
Selecting the room type (e.g. Patient room).
RAN number: Setting of number of room devices (= RAN number).
Test RAN: Test if room devices are ready to operate and if they are
correctly connected to the RAN.
Status: Check whether the stored RAN number is equal to the number
of operational room devices.
Setting of room address (1 until 110 available)
Setting the display contrast to “high” or “low”.
Switching the key sound on or off (on = recommended)
Displaying the Room Terminal's software version.
Function use only for Tunstall technicians. (Restart the Room Terminal)

2. Zwingend erforderliche Einstellungen 2. Entering of necessary settings
Sprache einstellen (wenn Menüpunkt vorhanden)
Selecting the user language (if the menu item is available)
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Sprache” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Mark ”Language” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
Mit den Pfeiltasten gewünschte Sprache markieren: D = Deutsch, GB = Englisch, E =
Spanisch, F = Französisch, NL = Niederländisch, I = Italienisch. “Selbstdefiniert” = eine
weitere Sprache, wenn diese mit der SystemOrganizer‐Software hinterlegt wurde.
Mark the desired language using the arrow keys: D = German; GB = English; E = Spanish;
F = French; NL = Dutch; I = Italian. “Custom” = another language, if this is stored
using the SystemOrganizer software.
Kreistaste drücken, um markierte Sprache zu speichern.
Press the circle key to store the marked language.
Raumtyp einstellen
Selecting the room type
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Raumtyp” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Mark “Room type” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
Mit den Pfeiltasten gewünschten Raumtyp markieren:
- Patientenzimmer
- Patientenzimmer mit Abstelltaste für WC-Ruf im ZimmerTerminal
- Dienstzimmer (Notrufe werden als Normalrufe signalisiert)
- Anschlussterminal (Tasten und Display im ZimmerTerminal außer Betrieb)
Kreistaste drücken, um markierten Raumtyp zu speichern.
RAN Anzahl einstellen (0 - 30)
RAN Anzahl = Anzahl Zimmergeräte (Taster, Steckvorrichtungen, Zimmerleuchten etc.), die
am ZimmerTerminal über RAN angeschlossen sind (Kein Birntaster).
Achtung, Ausnahme! Eine 4‐teilige Zimmerleuchte (Best.‐Nr. 77 0170 10 oder 77 0171 10)
gilt als zwei Zimmergeräte.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “RAN” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “RAN Anzahl” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Mit den Pfeiltasten RAN‐Anzahl des Zimmers markieren.
Kreistaste drücken, um die markierte RAN‐Anzahl zu speichern.
Zimmer-Adresse einstellen (1 - 110)
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Adresse” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Mit den Pfeiltasten gewünschte Adresse markieren.
Kreistaste drücken, um die markierte Adresse zu speichern.
Mark the desired room type using the arrow keys:
- Patient room
- Patient room with cancel key for WC call at Room Terminal
- Staff room (emergency calls are signalled as normal calls)
- Connection terminal (keys and display at Room Terminal non-operational)
Press the circle key to store the marked room type.
Setting of RAN number (0 - 30) (Room Area Network)
RAN number = Number of devices in the room (switches, connection sockets, room lamps,
etc.) which are connected to the Room Terminal via RAN. (No pear push switcht). Attention,
exception! One room lamp with 4 sections (order no. 77 0170 10 or 77 0171 10) is
equivalent to two room devices.
Mark “RAN” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
Mark “RAN number” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
Mark the desired room number for the room using the arrow keys.
Press the circle key to store the marked address.
Setting of room address (1 - 110)
Mark “Address” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
Mark the desired room address using the arrow keys.
Press the circle key to store the marked address.
2. Optionale Einstellungen bei Bedarf vornehmen 2. Entering of optional settings
Kontrast des ZimmerTerminal‐Displays einstellen (hoch, niedrig)
Je nach Umgebungslicht ist die Einstellung “hoch” oder “niedrig” besser lesbar.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Kontrast” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “hoch” oder “niedrig” markieren.
Kreistaste drücken, um markierten Kontrast zu speichern.
Tastenton ausschalten / einschalten
Auf Wunsch kann der Tastenton der ZimmerTerminal‐Tasten ausgeschaltet werden. Die
Einstellung “Tastenton Ein” wird jedoch empfohlen.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Tastenton” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Ein” oder “Aus” markieren.
Kreistaste drücken, um die markierte Auswahl zu speichern.
Softwareversion anzeigen lassen
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Info” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Softwareversion des ZimmerTerminals wird angezeigt.
Haustaste drücken um zum Menü zurückzukehren.
Setting of display contrast (high, low)
Depending on the ambient light a high or low display contrast is better legible.
Mark “Contrast” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
Mark “high” or “low” using the arrow keys.
Press the circle key to store the marked selection.
Switching the key sound off or on
If required the Room Terminal key sound can be switched off. But the setting “Key sound
On” is recommended.
Mark “Key Sound” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
Mark “On” or “Off” using the arrow keys.
Press the circle key to store the marked selection.
Displaying the software version
Mark “Info” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
The Room Terminal's software version is displayed.
Press the home key to return to the menu.
