12.2 Checking the ward functions<br />

12.2.1 Call forwarding<br />

When a call is not answered within a programmed time frame, it will be forwar<strong>de</strong>d<br />

to all rooms with activated presence states. Forwar<strong>de</strong>d calls are<br />

presented on the display at the ComTerminal and at the RoomTerminal <strong>Flamenco</strong>,<br />

and a tone also signals such calls. Furthermore a call tone will sound<br />

at the staff presence combination with call tone wp (or<strong>de</strong>r no. 70 0119 00) as<br />

well as at the cancel switch/WC with call tone wp (or<strong>de</strong>r no. 70 0183 00).<br />

12.2.1.1 Rooms with ComTerminal <strong>Flamenco</strong><br />

Refer to the operating instructions for the ComTerminal <strong>Flamenco</strong> for <strong>de</strong>tails on<br />

the handling of forwar<strong>de</strong>d calls.<br />

Check for each room:<br />

Is the call forwarding tone audible at the ComTerminal?<br />

Does the display of the ComTerminals show the correct room number?<br />

Can the call be answered? Can a speech connection be established to the<br />

call location?<br />

Can calls of call type “Call“ be cancelled from the remote position?<br />

12.2.1.2 Rooms with RoomTerminal <strong>Flamenco</strong><br />

Refer to the operating instructions for the ComTerminal <strong>Flamenco</strong> for <strong>de</strong>tails on<br />

the handling of forwar<strong>de</strong>d calls.<br />

Check for each room:<br />

Is the call forwarding tone audible at the RoomTerminal?<br />

Does the display of the RoomTerminals show the correct room number?<br />

Can the call be acknowledged?<br />

12.2.1.3 Rooms with ControlTerminal <strong>Flamenco</strong><br />

Check for each room:<br />

Is the call forwarding tone audible at the staff presence combination with call<br />

tone wp (or<strong>de</strong>r no. 70 0119 00) and at the cancel switch/WC with call tone<br />

(or<strong>de</strong>r no. 70 0183 00)?<br />

12.2.2 Corridor display<br />

Check whether calls in the ward are correctly indicated at the corridor display.<br />
