Kontrast des ComStation CT ‐Displays einstellen (hoch, niedrig)
Je nach Umgebungslicht ist die Einstellung “hoch” oder “niedrig” besser lesbar.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Kontrast” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “hoch” oder “niedrig” markieren.
Kreistaste drücken, um markierten Kontrast zu speichern.
Tastenton ausschalten / einschalten
Auf Wunsch kann der Tastenton der Tasten an der ComStation CT ausgeschaltet werden.
Die Einstellung “Tastenton Ein” wird jedoch empfohlen.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Tastenton” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Ein” oder “Aus” markieren.
Kreistaste drücken, um die markierte Auswahl zu speichern.
Störungston leise, mittel, laut oder aus
Warnung! Der Ton, der auf Störungen aufmerksam macht, darf nur dann ausgeschaltet
werden, wenn sichergestellt ist, dass Störungen auf andere Art sicher angezeigt werden.
Bei der Lautstärke des Störungstons kann gewählt werden zwischen leise, mittel und laut.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Störungston” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Leise”, „Mittel“, “Laut” oder „Aus“ markieren.
Kreistaste drücken, um die markierte Auswahl zu speichern.
Softwareversion anzeigen lassen
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Info” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Softwareversion der ComStation CT wird angezeigt.
Haustaste drücken um zum Menü zurückzukehren.
Setting of display contrast (high, low)
Depending on the ambient light a high or low display contrast is better legible.
Mark “Contrast” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
Mark “high” or “low” using the arrow keys.
Press the circle key to store the marked selection.
Switching the key sound off or on
If required the ComStation CT key sound can be switched off. But the setting “Key sound On”
is recommended.
Mark “Key Sound” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
Mark “On” or “Off” using the arrow keys.
Press the circle key to store the marked selection.
Fault tone volume soft, medium, loud or off
Warning! The tone that attracts attention for a fault may only be turned off, if it is made sure,
that the attention is attracted in another way. The volume of the fault tone can be set to soft,
medium or loud.
Mark “Fault Tone” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
Mark “Soft“, “Medium“, “Loud“ or „Off“ using the arrow keys.
Press the circle key to store the marked selection.
Displaying the software version
Mark “Info” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
The ComStation's software version is displayed.
Press the home key to return to the menu.
Tastenfunktion ausschalten / einschalten
In der Werkseinstellung der ComStation CT sind die Alarmtaste und beide AW‐Tasten (AW =
Anwesenheit) funktionsbereit. In begründeten Ausnahmefällen ist es möglich die
Tastenfunktion von diesen Tasten auszuschalten.
Switching on or of the key function
With the factory settings the alarm key and both presence keys are operational. In
well‐founded exceptional cases you can switch of the key function for these keys.
Alarmtaste (blaues Symbol)
Alarm Key (blue symbol)
AW‐Taste 2 (gelb)
AW‐Taste 1 (grün)
Presence Key 2 (yellow)
Presence Key 1 (green)
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Tastenfunktion” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Mit den Pfeiltasten gewünschte Taste (Alarmtaste oder AW‐Taste) markieren;
dann Kreistaste drücken.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Ein” oder “Aus” markieren.
Kreistaste drücken, um die markierte Auswahl zu speichern.
Achtung! Ausgeschaltete Tasten sind im Pflegebetrieb nicht verfügbar!
3. Zimmerbus RAN prüfen 3. Checking room bus RAN
Status
Prüfung, ob eingestellte RAN Anzahl (siehe oben “RAN Anzahl einstellen”) mit Anzahl
funktionsbereiter Zimmergeräte übereinstimmt.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “RAN” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “Status” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Anzeige: OK: ComStation CT hat gemeldet, dass eingestellte RAN Anzahl gleich Anzahl
funktionsbereiter Zimmergeräte ist.
Anzeige: Fehler: ComStation CT hat gemeldet, dass eingestellte RAN Anzahl nicht gleich
Anzahl funktionsbereiter Zimmergeräte ist.
Zum Verlassen der Anzeige Haustaste drücken. Bei Fehler “Test RAN” durchführen.
Test RAN
Test, ob Zimmergeräte funktionsbereit und korrekt am RAN angeschlossen sind.
Mit den Pfeiltasten “RAN” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Test Starten: Mit den Pfeiltasten “Test RAN” markieren; dann Kreistaste drücken.
Die LEDs aller angeschlossenen Zimmergeräte müssen blinken. (Geräte, die nicht
blinken, sind falsch angeschlossen oder defekt. Defekte Geräte austauschen. Falsch
angeschlossene Geräte korrekt anschließen)
Prüfen, ob Anzahl angeschlossener Zimmergeräte gleich der eingestellten RAN Anzahl
ist. Falls eingestellte RAN‐Anzahl falsch ist, diese nach dem RAN Test wie oben beschrieben
einstellen.
Test beenden: Haustaste drücken.
Mark “Key Function” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
Mark the desired key (alarm key or presence key) using the arrow keys. Then
press the circle key.
Mark “On” or “Off” using the arrow keys.
Press the circle key to store the marked address.
Attention! Switched off keys are not available for nursing staff!
Status
Check whether the stored RAN number (see above “Setting of RAN number”) is equal to the
number of operational room devices.
Mark “RAN” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
Mark “Status” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
Display: OK: ComStation CT has reported: Stored RAN number is equal to the number of
operational room devices.
Display: Error: ComStation CT has reported: Stored RAN number is not equal to the
number of operational room devices.
Press the home key to end. In case of an error carry out “Test RAN”.
Test RAN
Test if room devices are ready to operate and if they are correctly connected to the RAN.
Check the correct setting of the RAN number.
Mark “RAN” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
Test start: Mark “Test RAN” using the arrow keys. Then press the circle key.
The LEDs of all connected room devices must flash. (Non-flashing devices are wrongly
connected or defective. Replace defective devices. Correct any wrong connection)
Compare the number of connected room devices with the stored RAN number. If the
stored RAN number is not equal to the number of connected room devices, correct the
RAN number setting after the RAN test as described above.
End of test: Press the home key.

4. Konfigurationsmenü verlassen 4. Exit the configuration menu
Wenn keine Einstellungen mehr vorgenommen werden sollen und alle Tests beendet sind,
müssen Sie das Konfigurationsmenü verlassen.
Haustaste so oft drücken, bis die normale Betriebsanzeige angezeigt wird.
Hinweis: Wenn drei Minuten keine Funktionstaste gedrückt wird, wird das
Konfigurationsmenü automatisch verlassen.
When all settings are performed and all tests are finished, exit the configuration menu.
During this procedure all settings are stored.
Press home key until normal operation display appears.
Note: If for a period of three minutes no function key is pressed, the system will leave the
configuration menu.
