36.4.4
The following shall be measured separately:
Glazing of irregular shape measured as the smallest rectangular size out of
which the shape can be cut;
Curved and bent glazing, stating the size of the pane and the radius of the
bend or curve;
Double or multiple glazing. Each layer shall be measured;

Sealed double glazing units shall be enumerated and approximate size
stated;
Louvre blades shall be measured in metres stating the number of blades and
labours to edges;
Leadlights and copperlights shall be enumerated stating the approximate
size of the pane;
Glazed doors, slides, mirrors (including backing material) splashbacks, and
the like shall be enumerated. The description shall include all labours such as
grinding to edges, forming finger recesses, drilling for hardware and the like,
and the type of fixing.
Circular cutting shall be measured in metres.
36.4.6
Where glazing is fixed in preformed bedding material, this material shall be
measured separately in metres.
36.4.7
Polishing, grinding, bevelling of edges, and the like shall be measured in metres
according to the total perimeter of the sheet to be worked as follows:
(a)
Not exceeding 4.0 m in perimeter;
(b)
(c)
Exceeding 4.0 m and not exceeding 6.0 m in perimeter;
Exceeding 6.0 m and not exceeding 9.0 m in perimeter;
(d) Exceeding 9.0 m in perimeter.
The thickness and number of panes in each classification shall be given in the
description.
36.4.8
The jointing of glazing shall be measured in metres and the type of fixing or
compound stated.
36.4.9
Silvering, embossing, etching, sand blasting and the like shall be enumerated stating
the design, size and number of panes.
36.4.10
The cutting of holes, openingsand the like shall be enumerated stating both the size
of opening and size of the pane.
