SECTION 7 - SPRAYED CONCRETE<br />
7.1 OVERVIEW<br />
Refer to section O, General rules, which shall be read in conjunction with this section.<br />
7.2 PREAMBLES<br />

7.3 GENERAL PRINCIPLES<br />
7.3.1<br />
The General Principles of section 6, Concrete work, shall apply to this section except<br />
as follows:<br />
(a)<br />
(b)<br />
(c)<br />
Sprayed concrete shall be scheduled in cubic metres with the thickness and<br />
area stated in the description;<br />
The treatment of the finished face of sprayed concrete shall be scheduled in<br />
square metres;<br />
Separate items shall be given where access is difficult.<br />
7.4 MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE<br />
7.4.1<br />
Clause6.3 and 6.4 shall apply except that beams, lintels, columns and piers sprayed<br />
integral with walls shall be measured with the walls and this shall be stated.<br />
7.4.2<br />
Ties, anchors and the like to existing work shall be described and enumerated.<br />
7.4.3<br />
External angles shall be measured.<br />
7.4.4<br />
Formwork to ends and reveals shall be measured.<br />
