2.4.1 2
The removal of doors, windows, fittings and fixtures (e.g., cupboards, counters,
sanitary fittings) shall be enumerated and the description shall state whether or not
trims and other items in connection (e.g., frames, architraves, sill boards, pelmets,
flushing cisterns, taps, pipework) are included.
2.4.1 3
Timber framed walls, partitions, ceilings and the like to be demolished shall be
measured in square metres and the description shall include all available information
concerning framing, linings and the like.
2.4.1 4
Breaking into existing walls, floors, roofs, etc., to form openings, recesses and the
like shall be enumerated. New work in making good, trimming, providing lintels, sills,
finishings and the like shall be measured separately. If measured in other sections
this shall be stated.
2.4.1 5
Where shoring or temporary support is specified an item shall be measured. Where
detailed, thecomponent partsshall be measured and given separately in accordance
with the provisions of the appropriate section herein.
