25.4.8 Sundries
25.4.8.1
Support systems where drawn or specified to carry multiple services, access
platforms and the like shall be measured separately in accordance with section 15.
25.4.8.2
The provision of sleeves for building in or the drilling of holes into the building
structure shall be enumerated.
25.4.8.3
The making good, packing, sealing or fire rating of building penetrations shall be
enumerated.
25.4.8.4
Flashing to or waterproofing of flues, pipes or ducts shall be enumerated.
25.4.8.5
Identification of pipework, ductwork, valves and equipment shall be itemised.
25.4.9 General
25.4.9.1
An item shall be scheduled for obtaining all necessary approvals.
25.4.9.2
Provision of shop drawings, operating and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings
and the like shall be itemised.
25.4.9.3
Testing and commissioning shall be itemised. Provision of fuel, power, lubricants,
etc. shall be included in the description.
25.4.9.4
The provision of spares and the like shall be itemised.
25.4.9.5
Planned preventive maintenance, plant operation, client instruction and the like shall
be itemised. If such work is to be carried out after the date for contract completion
it shall be stated in the description.
