29.4.7<br />
Work not exceeding 300 mm in width and included in the area shall be measured in<br />
metres as extra value and classified under the following groups:<br />
(a)<br />
(b)<br />
Not exceeding 150 rnm in width;<br />
Exceeding 150 mm but not exceeding 300 mm in width.<br />
This shall apply to all narrow widths except those in plane surfaces caused by<br />
openings and the like.<br />
29.4.8<br />
Deductions shall be made forall openings and obstructions having an areaof 0.5 m2<br />
and over.<br />
29.4.9<br />
Work to isolated surfaces not exceeding 1 .O m* shall be measured separately.<br />
29.4.10<br />
Solid plaster applied mechanically shall be measured separately.<br />
29.4.1 1<br />
Arrises, drips, fair edges, junctions with other materials, nosings, rounded angles,<br />
grooves, coves, chases and the like shall be measured in metres.<br />
29.4.12<br />
Enrichments, cornices, mouldings, sills, beads, sinkings and the like shall be<br />
measured in metres stating the girth and size. Stop ends, mitres, returned ends and<br />
the like shall be enumerated.<br />
29.4.13<br />
Plaster to treads, risers, strings, skirtings, upstands, channels and the like shall be<br />
measured in metres stating the girth and size.<br />
29.4.14<br />
Plaster to circular, ornamental or modelled work shall be measured separately.<br />
29.4.15<br />
Letters, numerals, isolated enrichments and the like shall be enumerated.<br />
