13.4.1 6<br />

Centring for openings shall be fully described and enumerated or total length of soffit<br />

measured in metres with the number of openings stated. Centring to be left in shall<br />

be measured separately.<br />

13.4.17<br />

Casings, piers and columns shall be measured in metres stating the overall size.<br />

13.4.18<br />

Set back, projecting courses and the like shall be measured in metres. Isolated, set<br />

back, projecting and pattern work shall be described and enumerated.<br />

13.4.19<br />

Where cavities are closed at openings, ends and the like, an item for closing same<br />

shall be measured in metres, and the material and method shall be described.<br />

13.4.20<br />

The forming or cutting of ducts, chases and the like shall be measured in metres and<br />

the size shall be stated.<br />

13.4.21<br />

Raking out for flashings shall be measured in metres; that for steppedflashings shall<br />

be measured separately.<br />

13.4.22<br />

Holes for pipes, conduits, electrical boxes and the like shall be enumerated, stating<br />

the thickness of the blockwork.<br />

13.4.23<br />

Ventilation blocks and the like shall be described and enumerated. The thickness of<br />

the wall into which they are built shall be stated.<br />
